fun at grandma and grandpa's

We had a great time visiting Grandma Eileen and Grandpa Geno for dinner last Sunday. One of Elena's many aunts, Megan, was there with her boyfriend, Matt. Everyone had a great time being entertained by Elena, and Elena really enjoyed all the attention she got. She loved the toys Grandma got out for her, kitchen bowls and utensils, because those things are always more fun than real toys. She loves banging on things, looking at herself in any surface that gives a reflection and closing doors. The other day she closed the door to the den. When I opened the door, both dogs were in the room with her and incredibly glad to escape. Maggie is really good with Elena, letting her pull on her ears and play with her feet. Elena has been attempting to try to crawl over Maggie, without much success. Tucker, on the other hand, just tries to steer clear of those curious hands.
